INTENTION TO DO WHAT !

Several times over the last few weeks I’ve had this conversation with pupils, WHAT ARE YOUR INDICATORS / SIGNALS FOR ? Are they to tell other drivers what you are doing - or - to tell them your intentions ? If you put them on late then it’s to tell them what you’re doing ! But pop them on earlier & hey presto they tell them your intention, that then turns into what you’re doing as you complete your junction, if a positional move is required then surely the earlier signal is better ! This would obviously give other drivers more time to adjust to what you intend, back off or reposition themselves - Viola!

This of course excludes BMW drivers lol
